Love this water filter, have been using a Brita, but that bottle cap breaks very easily. This was great because I had a couple Nalgenes lying around from my kids so I just got this kit and tried it out on an OTF. The filter is just slightly harder to pull water through, but not difficult. I use this at work and can fill up anywhere I go!. This design is much sturdier, and I am happy that is Nalgene is made in the USA. Will be purchasing more!

This is extremely hard to suck water through. I only used this for tap water at my work location. I can’t imagine using this in the mountains. You would suck your eyeballs out trying to get water through it!
