32oz Narrow Mouth Oasis Bottle

The best Nalgene bottle out there! does not roll off the cliff when knocked over. Needs new colors and the line needs to be expanded. I would like to see one that glows in the dark!

Too expensive at $16. They used to be like $8 a year ago. First they disappeared for 2 years, they said it was supply chain issues. Now they restock them at twice the price. Sounds like a little market manipulation….sad.
Anyway, for slightly over what they a charging now you could get a pretty nice brand name stainless steel bottle.

This is the best Nalgene product hands down. Same great narrow mouth for ease of drinking and pouring, no seals to go bad, wide shape is easier to hold, won’t roll if it tips over unlike the round designs, matte texture so it doesn’t look grimy over time, fits into bags better, and extremely durable courtesy of Tritan construction. And all for a reasonable price made in the USA? Basically a perfect waterbottle! Only thing it could potentially use is some graduated markings on the side but that would detract from the minimalist aesthetic.

Best water bottle. Needs to stay stocked and needs more color options. In my opinion they should expand the oasis line instead of the regular cylindrical bottles that roll around.

I bought 4 of these for my wife and I for various outdoor adventures three years ago. We were looking for something that fit the water bottle pockets on packs better than a standard 1L/32 oz bottle.

The pros: they’re lightweight compared to other Nalgene products, fits bottle pockets on packs better than standard bottles, fits in cargo pockets well if needed.

The cons: after 2 years, we had a 50% failure rate. Within 6 months, on bottle cracked at the mouth after being dropped and leaked whenever it wasn’t vertical. The second one developed a small crack in the bottom after being dropped.

Meanwhile, all of our other Nalgene products are running strong, some after nearly 20 years of use. I think if these were built with the same materials (perhaps only difference is thickness), this would be my ideal summer water supply, especially if a 1.5 L version was produced.

These are excellent. The only complaint I’ve seen anywhere is people doubting the durability due to the walls being thinner but I have no doubt these are tough. Nalgene doesn’t make a single bad product and their engineers know how to design something that’ll last. I love the fact that these are lighter than the Tritan bottles were used to too. Also as many have stated these fit in water bottle pockets in most packs better than fat round bottles like every company makes. LOVE that Nalgene believes in making products in USA. These canteens are an absolute win.

I bought two on Amazon a couple weeks ago and they’re perfect. Looking to get a couple more

i have been trying to buy a 32oz oasis Bottle for over a year! what is it going to take for somebody at this company to listen to your customers and make some ?

Please bring these back! They fit flat in a pack. They don’t roll around in a car. And best of all I can use military surplus canteen cups and pouches with them.

My favorite water bottles as they fit in packs better than round bottles, are easier to hold, fit in old gear pouches, and will not roll away. Please email me when available as I need to outfit my kids.

Just left my last one on an airplane. Devastated! Please bring these back. They fit the water bottle pockets of a pack so much better than the round ones. They also don’t roll away on a slope.

This is a useful list, i carry a nalgene nested inside a tatonka steel mug, but like someone else commented, i would like to see some? different shaped alternatives, prefably in steel.

5 Stars because I love these bottles so much. As for you military surplus lovers out there, I have two of the military ones too, neither of which I was interested in, nor am I a fan of, one came with a canteen pouch, the other came with a nesting cup, I was only interested in the pouch and cup. The reason I like these better is because one, I can see the fluid level, two it’s easier to get a cleaning cloth inside and rattle to dry after cleaning, and three, they’re much easier to clean and I can see if I did indeed clean it easily, not like the military ones. Not trying to knock the military canteens, they’re great in their own right, and I have used mine both for EDC and out in the wilderness. I just like Nalgene’s version better. As for people wanting this bottle to be brought back, I hear you, I agree with you, I hope Nalgene brings it back, and I too want Nalgene to bring it back. Whether or not that happens, I don’t blame Nalgene, I blame COVID.

Love my green one. Really want a second green one. Please bring this canteen back into production!

Why are y’all complaining about the bottles are not available? Go to an army navy store and buy a milsurp canteen. Same thing and same dimensions. Used them for years. Besides the wide mouth nalgene is the best because it attaches to MSR Mini works EX water filter. Use a filter and save weight in your pack.

Please bring these water bottles back. They are the perfect shape for backpack side pockets.

This is the best of the Nalgene bottles for hiking – most compact, fits army canteen pouches and canteen cups. Why isn’t it still being made?

Perfect fit to nest inside the kidney shaped military canteen cup. I bought one in grey body/blue lid and another in amber body/black lid. This is way better than the military issue plastic. I like being able to see through the semi-clear sides. Makes it easier to see if clean. They have a tough robust design that will continue to please for many, many adventures.

I own both the gray and blue Oasis Bottles and have been using them now for about 5 years. I find that they are much easier to use than round nalgene’s because the fit in my Backpack Pockets better, they are easier to hold in the hand, filling is no problem as all the water filters adapt to the opening and the seal up water tight with no leaks ever. 32oz size is perfect, if you carry 2-3 of these on a hike or backpacking you are all set. One other dig here is that they are much lighter than the round nalgene’s which makes them a great choice for cutting weight.
