I’ve been using Nalgenes for years and I feel that the quality of Nalgene bottles has severely declined in the past few years. I purchased a clear 48oz bottle which was accidentally dropped at waist height – the bottle SHATTERED on impact. Nalgene was prompt with sending a replacement with their warrantee program…however the replacement they sent me has a crack that extends from top to bottom, like there was a defect in the mold or production. VERY disappointed. Also the new colors are ugly.

This bottle helped save my life. I stopped drinking sugary soda 5 years ago. I got this 48oz bottle and made a sort of pact with it, I would only drink water out of it moving forward. I’ve carried it every day everywhere I go. Usually refilling it 3-4 times a day. Outside it’s covered with faded stickers, but washes clean inside easily. Put in a drop of soap, 12oz warm water, and a scrub sponge (shake it like it’s hot).
I desperately wish they would make this 48oz in the spring green color.
