Have been using these for backpacking since the 1960’s. Best because the softer plastic is less likely to crack if dropped on a rock. Plus my “kids” and I use (sturdy) stickers to tell them apart from each other on the trail. And they’ve lasted through several dishwasher loads.

In the 1980’s I did a lot of rock climbing and used these bottles to cary my water for the day. In the summer I would freeze 2 and refrigerate 2 and cary them in insulated pouches (lived in Las Vegas, NV). I still have some of these 32oz. bottles and one 64oz. There great for the outdoors and have held up very well. These days I still use them for camping trips 30 years later.

These are the ones to get if you carry it around in your bag. It’s so much lighter than the clear ones and the panther logo ones look beautiful too. The clear type one at my office bit I have this hdpe orange one for my carrying around bottle. Saves a water cup at fast food places and the wide mouth bottle lets ice in easy.
