We’re proudly “Born from Science. ”Our roots go back to the 1940s when chemist Emanuel Goldberg developed the first plastic pipette jars and founded the Nalge Company. In the 1960s, our labware scientists discovered that the leak-proof, lightweight laboratory bottles they used at work were also great companions on hiking, camping, and backpacking trips. Gradually, more and more conservationists and adventurers caught on—and Nalgene Outdoor was born.
