These are a great size, but are not fully EDC (endocrine disrupting chemical) free, I’ve been researching the entire market of water bottle production, and these nalgene (make sure it’s the new batch numbers, the older ones contain several main EDCs, just not BPA) are the “safest” plastic ones out there.
The biggest issue is they take A HUGE amount of strength to close, I’m a decently strong adult, and I need to use both hands and my chest muscles to close them, and the little plastic catch on both my bottles are already cracked from the force.
These may be conveniently sized, and aesthetically designed for kids, but are not kid friendly.
