I have been using Nalgene bottles since I was a kid traveling with my parents. I still have bottles from over 15 years ago. I bought these bottles for my first born 8 years ago. They have lasted through her and my two boys. The only downside is not having an option to buy replacement lids. Teething toddlers like to chew on things so a few of the lids have bit marks on the spout. I love not having to worry about the cup whenever it is thrown. No leaking, no breaking, and no worries! Love Nalgene 😀

Bought four of these and all four leaked right away. (Lids were not cross threaded.) Seems weird that I would get four defects in different colors….systemic issue?

This was the only beverage holder my son would use from age 1-6. We still use the bottles. Over time the valves need to be replaced. But these bottles have gone everywhere with us. They were a life saver!

I have had the same bottle for at least 6 or 7 years. All four of my kids have used it. Pretty impressive that it has lasted so long.

Buyer beware. I rarely leave reviews, but this product is so poorly designed I just feel obligated to make everyone aware. We bought it as a fun thing for hiking/outdoor activities for our toddler but I always find myself reaching for a generic €2 bottle instead, because they work better.
1. The cover is so flimsy that had it not been included in the photo, I would have thrown it out with the packaging.
2. The rubber texture of the nozzle easily attracts dirt, making the cover necessary.
3. The big hole which is the only attachment point for paracord/carabiners is rendered useless with said flimsy cover.
4. The drip stop is very firm but still manages to leak.
5. The flimsy cover is not attached to the bottle (and clear plastic) meaning that it will be lost on the ground
6. The flimsy cover is not leak-proof, meaning there’s no way of containing liquid in a secure manner in the bottle without risk of leakage. This means you’ll need an additional lid if this is to be used say inside of a tent.
I refuse to believe this product has been tested by any parent in an outdoor setting. It’s simply useless.
